Hong Kong

We made our way back to the base of the tower, had lunch, and headed back to the ferry port to head back to Hong Kong. We made our way to the Kowloon district, checked into our hotel, and worked for the rest of the night so we could get up early the next day.

Yeah so we didn’t get up early. We finally left the hotel and made our way to Lantau Island to visit the infamous Big Buddha statue. We decided to get a glass floor cable car for the ride to the top and back down, which took about 25-30 minutes (or so it felt like that to me). We made it to the top, only to find out that the Big Buddha was closing in half an hour and we wouldn’t be able to make it. We took our obligatory distant pictures of the statue and made our way back to the bottom of the mountain in our glass bottom cable car.

We spent our last day checking out the malls and buying gifts for family and friends before heading back to the airport to catch our flight to our next destination: Bali.
Hong Kong was mostly for content and personal work but we were going to Bali for an event hosted by our good friend and Gearbubble CEO, Don Wilson. He brought together a bunch of successful and down-to-earth entrepreneurs for an amazing week of building businesses and creating memories in beautiful Bali, Indonesia.

Check out the second stop of our trip!
